United Differences - Lisa Simpson

In July 2021 We Are Epic worked with disabled choreographer, Lisa Simpson, after she was successfully awarded an Unlimited Micro Award.

We worked with Lisa to broker a relationship with Epic Encounters in Cambodia and Nalitari in Indonesia to design and deliver the ‘United Differences’ project.

‘United Differences’ brought together Lisa Simpson’s unique practice as a disabled choreographer with non-verbal communication in collaboration with dancers and choreographers from Epic Encounters (Cambodia) and Nalitari (Indonesia).

Lisa worked remotely to deliver workshops for both companies to share her choreographic methods with both organisations.
